Gaining an education as a designer can sometimes be expensive. That’s why today I’m going to give you some free e-books to increase your design acumen.

Thus far, there are ten books on this website. The books include The Design Engineering Handbook, Business Thinking for Designers, Design Systems Handbook, Principles of Product Design, Animation Handbook, Remote Work for Design Teams, Enterprise Design Sprints, Design Ops Handbook, Design Leadership Handbook, Design Thinking Handbook.

UXPin has a massive collection of books to look at. You name it, they got it-UX, UI, Web design, Product Design, and everything in between.

Sarah Doody, An expert UX researcher, created the UX Portfolio Blueprint, which should help those of you that are new to the UX industry or even those that have been in UX for a while and you just wanted a refresher on how to have a solid portfolio.

Are you looking to get better when it comes to doing UX research? The UX Research 101 guide has a lot of goodies in it. It will teach you how to plan and conduct UX research as well as how to take action on data you’ve collected and analyzed. As bonuses, it will teach you It has many 28 research methods in it, and interviewing checklist, and UX research questions.

Knowing how to freelance is good for any designer to know. Knowing how to freelance means you get to do design work on your terms. According to Route Print’s website, The Freelance Bible will teach you how to market your business, find your unique selling proposition, license the work you do, manage relationships with your clients, complete tax returns, and more.
